Some items require extra planning, equipment, and manpower to move safely. Because every situation is different, house arrangements are typically billed will an affordable flat-rate (per piece or item maximum).

Rules to qualify as a house arrangement:

✔ 1 location only

Due to being flat-rate, we can only service one address per house arrangement order

✔ Item limit

These jobs are typically limited to 4 items or less. Occasionally, there is some leeway.

When we count items say you have a dresser with a mirror. Even though the mirror has to be removed to move the dress, we still count this as 1 item.

✔ Accessibility at Both Locations

We evaluate how easy or difficult it is to move the item in and out, including:

Stairs or steps

Tight corners or narrow doorways

Long walking distances

Elevators

Uneven ground, grass, or gravel

Decks, railings, or obstacles

✔ Crew Size Needed

Safety is our top priority. Some items can be handled by a small team, while others require additional movers. Most house arrangements should fall under 3 guys or less to qualify for the flat rate.

✔ Special Equipment

We may use specialty tools such as piano boards, heavy-duty dollies, lifting straps, ramps, or protective padding.

✔ Time Limits

When we consider a house arrangement job only jobs that can be completed in about 1 hour would qualify.

✔ Preparation Requirements

Minor disassembly is always expected. Something that takes an intense about of disassembly or reassembly might not qualify. In the case of length prep we would typically request that you book hourly.
