Creating a simple unpacking kit will make your move easier and more successful!
Picture this- you arrive at your new home and T Square Movers has just finished safely unloading all your items and personal belongings. The last 30 days has been go, go, go; and today you have been running nonstop for 8-9 hours. Now what? Your first instinct may be to start cleaning, but all of your cleaning supplies are packed away in one of the thousand boxes laying around. So, a few days before the big move, you will want to create an unpacking box with all the essentials for the day/night. Trust me… it will come in super handy.
After moving multiple times and not following this tip, I quickly realized the importance of prepping a box of essentials to get through that first day or two. So, let’s create one together!
First, create a simple checklist of all of the items you’ll crave immediate access to upon arriving in your new home. Here is an example of what one looks like for my home.
